Big Sable Lighthouse Opens for Season
The Big Sable Lighthouse is located inside of the Ludington State Park. It is a two-mile hike out to see the 150-year-old lighthouse and keepers quarters. Guests can explore the downstairs of the quarters, the gift shop and watch a short video about the history of the light. Then climb the 130 stairs to see spectacular views of the State Park and Lake Michigan. Fee to climb the tower is $5 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under; must be 40" tall to climb.
