Santa is escorted into Pentwater by the Pentwater Fire Department. Downtown Pentwater. For more information, visit pentwater.org.

COVE Holiday Party
Holiday Party Fundraiser for Communities Overcoming Violent Encounters at Stix- 1963 N. Lakeshore Dr., Ludington. 1950’s theme with valet parking, dinner, music, and photos by Brad Reed. 

Cooking Matters for Families
Free classes for families with school-aged children where participants learn how to eat healthy, cook, and grocery shop on a limited budget. Advance registration is required by calling Nancy at (231) 920-3763. Irons Community Center- 5071 W. 10 1/2 Mile Rd., Irons. 

Coat Drive for Ludington Area Schools Youth Resource Center
Anyone donating a coat/blanket will receive a $6 coupon for Ludington Bay Brewing Co. Drop coats and blankets off at the brewery- 515 S. James St., Ludington.

Book Sale
$5/bag or 50 cents/book. Mason County Life Recovery- 301 N. James St., Ludington.

Kegs for Cash Benefiting the Lakeshore Food Club
Enjoy a Perrin Gold beer at The Mitten Bar and every dollar you pay for the featured product will be donated to the Lakeshore Food Club. The Mitten Bar- 109 W. Ludington Ave., Ludington.

Visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus

Friends of the Library Book Sale
Saturday from 9am-3pm and Sunday from 12-3pm. Ludington Library- 217 E. Ludington Ave., Ludington.

Snowshoe Making Classes
Participants must be age 16 and older. The cost is $190, which includes the preformed wooden frames, lacing, high-quality bindings, and personal instruction. Pre-registration is required. 

Celebration of Lights
At Farr Center- 5283 Main St., Onekama. Donate toward a tree light to honor or memorialize a loved one. Donation envelopes are available at the Onekama Post Office- 8311 Mill St. or the Onekama Public Library- 5283 Main St., Onekama. 

Light Up the Park
Christmas caroling and live music (6-7:30pm), Big Tuck’s Food Truck (5-8:30pm) various booths, horse-drawn wagon rides, light show and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus throughout the event. Fireworks at 8pm. Webster Park- 48 E. South Ave., Hesperia. For more information or to volunteer, visit facebook.com.

Aglow on the Avenue Holiday Parade & Tree Lighting
Parade is followed by caroling, a tree lighting, and a Santa visit in Legacy Plaza. 102.7 WMOM-FM radio will be broadcasting the parade live on Facebook. Held in Downtown Ludington.

Festival of Wreaths Auction
Wreaths created by local artists will be on display and up for silent auction in the lobby of the performance hall. Wreaths will be accepted until November 21st and must be pre-registered by contacting the Ludington Area Center for the Arts at (231) 845-2787 or info@ludingtonartscenter.org. LACA- 107 S. Harrison St., Ludington.

Silver Lake Community Tree Lighting Festivities
Golden Township Park- 8711 W. Silver Lake Rd., Mears. For more information, visit thinkdunes.com.

Opening Night at Bear Lake’s Sparkle in the Park
Enjoy complimentary chili, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies beginning at 5pm, courtesy of the Bear Lake Community. From 6:30-7:30pm, Santa & Mrs. Clause will visit with children at Toyland Bear Lake (the pavilion) with treats.

Deadline to Register for Ludington Area Jaycees Light Up the Night Outdoor Holiday Decorating Competition
Cash prizes in two different categories. 

Visit Santa for a Cause
Bring a canned good or nonperishable items for Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry and get a visit with Santa. West Shore Bank- 306 Cypress St., Manistee.
