Successful anglers were fishing the deeper holes. While some have started spawning, this week could bring a good push of fresh fish.

The Recent Rainfall and Snowmelt has the water up and very stained near Custer. It is too early to tell if we had a new push of fish. The best numbers of fish at this time are in the Flies Only Section near Baldwin. We had some great fishing earlier this Fall in the Lower and Mid Sections. Those fish seemed to have moved upstream closer to spawning gravel to Winter Over. Flies, Spawn and Plugs have been taking fish.
